Total immersion courses to discover French heritage and gastronomy...

Immersive walk in the Isle valley:

    •  The village of Neuvic is 2km from the house, easily accessible on foot. It's a charming village with all the shops you need, as well as a magnificent château and its botanical garden, a Caviar fish farm, a walnut and hazelnut oil mill...

    • Saint-Astier, Grignols, Villamblard... so many small villages as charming as they are typical, with lively, friendly markets that will give you a change of scene for the duration of your visit.

    • Périgueux is about 20 minutes away by car. Bordeaux is 1 hour away and Bergerac 45 minutes. The train station serving Neuvic is within walking distance of the house.

    • If you like hiking, there are a number of signposted routes through the varied, undulating and breathtakingly beautiful countryside! Some of them pass right by the house.

    • There's also the green route of the Isle valley, "la voie verte de la vallée de l'Isle", which runs for over 100 km along the River Isle. You'll discover magnificent landscapes, historic sites (châteaux, abbeys, churches), industrial heritage monuments (mills, canals, lime quarries, etc.) and some of the finest gastronomic sites in Périgord. The route alternates between sections of greenways (reserved for pedestrians/cyclists) and low-traffic roads.

I'd be delighted to give you more information and help you choose your activities!
